Buddha once said, “To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not able to keep our mind strong and clear.” Regular exercise, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep and happy relationships are the four pillars which are essential for maintaining an optimum health.
Good health is central to our happiness and well-being. Manotsav Foundation acknowledges the importance of health and aims to spread awareness through its various programs. Recently, a series of workshops were conducted on Health and Hygiene as a part of our comprehensive mental health program, for the children and adolescents studying in BMC schools of Bandra and Khar. The session included good habits related to health and hygiene which the students must instil in themselves, an introduction to the concept of mental health and some basic tips in order to live a holistically healthy life and be more productive.
Overall, it was a successful session and the students participated throughout the session.
