Ms. Sushmita Singh is a psychologist and psychotherapist, with basic training in Psychology from Jai Hind College, affiliated to Mumbai University and a master’s degree with specialization in Clinical Psychology from Maniben Nanavati Women’s College, affiliated to S.N.D.T University, Mumbai.
She has received training in Rational Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from In Vivo-Mumbai Centre for RECBT, affiliated to Albert Ellis Institute, New York; Intensive Clinical Training in Psychotherapy (ICTP) from Desousa Foundation and has completed Tobacco Cessation Training Programme: Life First. She has also undertaken several courses in the domain of mental health and well-being.
She has a key interest in working with children. Apart from working as a School Counsellor and experience in a hospital setting, she has conducted workshops for MNC’s and volunteered with various Ngo’s in Mumbai. She counsels care-givers to deal with the impact of the disorder on their loved ones, to ensure minimum psychological stress on them. In addition to her formal training, she is skilled in planning and designing mental health programs.
She is currently working as a Psychologist at Manotsav Foundation. Her vision is to improve the mental health of people and facilitate better lives by providing holistic treatment to help them in overall growth.
